Anomaly Classification Number: 006
Codename: The Imp
Class: Ikari
Anomaly-006 in a dormant state.
Description: Anomaly-006 is a porcelain gargoyle ornament depicting the mythical "imp" creature. When leaving a dormant state, it appears as a floating imp looking creature of sorts that seems to be friendly usually, often communicating with staff in all known human languages, but often the Anomaly will go into random seizure like fits that will cause world wide blackouts, during these fits it can seemingly "Blip" around and even out if the site, meaning it'll have to be contained again, it stores the energy from these blackouts into itself which can cause it to act like a EMP with these fits, sending out mass amounts of energy which fry all electronics in a 200 - 12000 Km radius depending on how much energy the anomaly can collect during the seizures. It would also seem that the creature cannot control these fits, Personnel near the fits on occurrence have said that their senses have gone haywire and they seem to go into a stunned state where they see odd images of another world, It also seems that these outbursts of the Anomaly can be used to stun and even immobilize other anomalies. It is also said that during the "EMPs" the anomaly releases often escapes it's containment to explore the world, but for a unknown reason many people who come into contact with the anomaly after this turn into "Husks", seemingly dying on the spot, the anomaly has commented that it doesn't mean to do this, and that this only happens after EMPs, it has also stated that they aren't "Dead" but have gone to the "Other plain of existence".
Containment Procedures: Currently there is no good way to contain the anomaly, it is said that the best ways as of current are to keep it in a sound proofed room with systems set in place to contain it's EMPs and blackout fits, these don't always work as the anomaly will just blip out of containment usually, but it does not struggle when being re-contained, it's also said to have researchers communicate with the Anomaly at least twice a day to learn more about it and the different "Plain of existence" it came from, as well as to keep it company, which it seems to like.
